Matt Darr - Discus & Shot Put

A few weeks ago DyeStatCal was predicting the top ten boys team at state and they picked Frontier to finish in the top ten based solely on Matt Darr. He has a shot at repeating Dayshan Ragans throwing double of last year.

Right now he is the top thrower in the state in the discus and is the fourth best shot putter. He is also an excellent punter and many colleges are already looking at him for football.

Taylor Jackson - 300 Hurdles

All season long Jackson has been the season leader in the valley in both hurdling events but in 100 hurdles at valley she hit a couple huedles and did not qualify for state. She did come back later and won the 300 hurdles and will return to state.

At this time, she was ranked in the top 20 in the state in both hurdling events. Last year at state she came in 23rd out of 29 in the 100h prelims and 24th out of 30 in the 300h prelims.
